The R.O.C. (Recreation and Outreach Center) for First Baptist Church in Pensacola includes a 7,200 square foot addition to an existing 10,000 square foot building containing a gymnasium and Christian education spaces which were renovated as part of the scope of the project. This building is part of larger church campus that until now did not sufficiently meet the needs of today's youth. The $2.4 million project consists of two contemporary youth worship spaces, classrooms, and a new coffee shop lobby. In 2009 the building was recognized by AIA Florida Northwest with an Award of Excellence for Renovation.
